While we may be new to you, we’re not new. We started in 1936, when credit unions were being formed as a result of banks’ inabilities and reluctance to extend credit to consumers. Faced with few financing options, people like you joined together and formed financial cooperatives to help them make it through tough times. And thrive in better days.

We’re not like other financial institutions—and, trust us—that’s a good thing. We’re a not-for-profit financial organization, and have been for over 90 years, which means we return our profits to our Members, not shareholders, through higher savings and checking yields, lower rates on loans and credit cards, and personal service you can’t get at a bank. Put simply – banks make a profit off customers. We make a profit for our Members.

Here’s another thing that sets us apart—financial education. We get to know our Members, so we’re better able to help them improve their financial literacy so they can meet their unique financial goals.
