Social Media Disclosure

Farmers Insurance Federal Credit Union (“FIGFCU” or “Credit Union”) from time to time may choose to offer promotional items/awards or giveaways (“offers”) as incentives for “individuals” to “like”, “comment”, “follow”, “repost”, “share” or perform other similar functions on FIGFCU posts on social media websites. Businesses, Corporations, LLCs, Partnerships, unincorporated organizations, for profit organizations, non-profit organizations, governmental entities, bots, and other non-corporeal persons, are not eligible to participate in any FIGFCU Social Media Promotional Sweepstakes or Contest.

Only Credit Union members who are individuals and who are in good standing with the Credit Union are eligible for the sweepstake giveaways/promotional items, etc. In addition, to be eligible, the member must be a resident of the United States.

No purchase is necessary.  The only condition is that you provide the information requested in the sweepstakes, which may include social media page likes/comments. The particular rules of any Social Media Promotional Sweepstakes and description of the prizes, etc., will be stated clearly for each Social Media Promotional Sweepstakes. You may also enter into any Social Media Promotional Sweepstakes by mailing to the Credit Union via the United States Postal Service in a postage prepaid envelope, a written request to be entered into the Social Media Promotional Sweepstakes. (One mailed entry into a Social Media Promotional Sweepstakes per individual member, per envelope, per individual sweepstakes.)  FIGFCU Employees and family members of FIGFCU employees are not eligible for any FIGFCU promotions posted on Social Media.

Promotional offers are VOID in jurisdictions where they are prohibited.

All Applicants to any FIGFCU Promotion agrees to hold FIGFCU harmless for any loss which might be incurred by the receipt, use, or loss caused, directly or indirectly, from the use of any such promotional item or cash awards.

Promotional Sweepstakes do not create an expectation on the part of any applicant to be selected to receive any such item. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Other rules may apply depending upon the jurisdiction of where the member is located.

Receipt of promotional items may create tax liabilities on the part of the ultimate recipient. Everyone participating in a promotion or giveaway, are encouraged to consult a tax advisor prior to taking part in any promotional activity with FIGFCU.

FIGFCU promotions are not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, or any other social media site.

Information collected in connection with FIGFCU promotions are subject to FIGFCU’s Privacy Policy.

The applicant/participant of any Promotional Sweepstakes posted on Social Media must strictly comply with all rules of the Promotional Sweepstakes and of the Social Media on which it is posted.
