Predictable Cash Flow
Know what’s coming in and going out, before it happens.
Powerful Control
User permissions and approval controls help keep payments accountable.
Running a business means paying people—your team, your vendors, the recurring costs that keep your operations moving. But writing checks, tracking them down, and reconciling them by hand eats into time you don't have. ACH Origination lets you securely send and receive payments electronically, so payroll runs on schedule, vendors get paid without a follow-up call, and your books stay clean without the manual work. Set it up once to help your payments run the way your business does—reliably, securely, and on time.
More than just payments.
Every feature here exists to save you a step—so you can spend less time processing payments and more time running your business.

ACH Origination FAQs
ACH Origination moves money through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network in batches, usually settling in one to two business days—a lower-cost option built for routine payments like payroll and vendor invoices. Wires move funds individually and settle the same day, but at a higher cost per transaction. If you're sending recurring or high-volume payments, ACH is typically the more efficient choice.
Most ACH transactions settle within one to two business days, depending on when the transaction is submitted relative to our daily cut-off times. Same-day ACH may be available for certain transaction types—ask your business banking relationship manager <CUES INQUIRY FORM> if your business needs faster settlement.
Yes. You can originate ACH credits (like payroll or vendor payments) and ACH debits (like collecting membership dues or recurring invoices) through the same platform.
Transactions submitted after the 2:00 p.m. PT cutoff are processed the next business day. Planning submissions around your cutoff time helps make sure payroll and vendor payments are posted on schedule.
No, you don’t need separate software. You can create, manage, and submit ACH batches directly through our digital banking platform. If you already use accounting software, import/export capabilities let you move data between systems without manual re-entry.
ACH Origination is included with the transaction allowance limit for both the Basic Business Checking and Advanced Business Checking. Excess transactions above the allowance limit are charged a fee per item. It's also available with Analyzed Business Checking, at a rate of $0.15 per ACH item.

Fees vary by business checking account and transaction volume. Basic and Advanced Business Checking include ACH transactions within the applicable transaction allowance; excess transactions are $0.20 per ACH item.
