Financial Relief for New and Tenured Agents

Your Credit Union is providing extra financial support for Farmers Agents.
All loans are first-come, first-served. Applications must be received by May 31, 2020.

Farmers Cares Loan (New Agents)

  • For eligible, new agents within their first five years (excluding Reserve agents)
  • Up to $5,000
  • 0% APR*
  • 24-month term, payment deferred until Feb. 5, 2021
  • Loan terms are the same for every borrower

  • For tenured agents and District Managers
  • Borrow up to 70% of Contract Value (CV)
  • Up to $15,000 loan amount
  • Fixed at 3.00% APR*
  • 24-month term, payment deferred until Feb. 5, 2021

Instructions For How To Apply:


When applying for one of our Farmers Agent special-relief loans, follow these steps in Online Banking:

  1. In your "My Account" homepage, click 'Apply for a Business Installment Loan'.

  2. To apply for the Farmers Cares Loan, for the “Collateral” question, select “No,” then choose “Farmers Cares Loan” from drop down list.

    Or to apply for the Contract Value Relief (COVID-19) Loan, for the “Collateral” question, select “Yes,” then choose “Contract Value Relief Loan” from drop down list.

  3. Click “Next” to finalize loan application.


When applying for one of our Farmers Agent special-relief loans, follow these steps:

  1. Go to our loan application site and click “Apply for a Business Installment Loan". Note – you will need to set up a username and password. If you’ve applied for a loan online previously, just enter your username and password.

  2. Then, to apply for the Farmers Cares Loan, select “No” for the “Collateral” question, then choose “Farmers Cares Loan” from drop down list.

    Or, to apply for the Contract Value Relief (COVID 19) Loan, select “Yes” for the “Collateral” question, then choose “Contract Value Relief Loan” from drop down list.

  3. Click “Next” to finalize loan application.

  4. Note: After you have sent in your loan application, you’ll receive a follow up email with membership application details. You must apply for Credit Union membership to take advantage of these loans.

Farmers Cares Loan – designated as a Farmers Agent Loan for qualified “New Farmers Agents” factoring how long a potential borrower has been designated an agent. (“New Farmers Agents” within the first five years of their agencies existence, excluding “Reserve Agents”). Both current Credit Union members and non-members with the ability to join the Credit Union as a member in good standing and membership eligibility requirements, may submit applications. Loan is subject to credit approval and underwriting requirements that are being expedited to assist in advanced funding. Maximum loan amount of $5,000 (five thousand dollars), other loan programs may be available subject to credit approval. APR* = Annual Percentage Rate. Repayment of the Farmers Cares Loan may be deferred with a 24-month term, payment deferred until Feb. 5, 2021. Other terms and conditions apply. Applications must be received by May 31, 2020. Rates are subject to qualifying factors including Folio Deduction and are quoted effective as of April 9, 2020 and are subject to change without notice. FIGFCU is federally insured by NCUA.

CV Relief Loan – Is being offered to eligible Agents based on currently calculated Contract Value and amount of time the Agency has been in existence. Loan is subject to credit approval and underwriting requirements that are being expedited to assist in advanced funding. Maximum loan amount of $15,000 (fifteen thousand dollars), other loan programs may be available subject to credit approval. APR* = Annual Percentage Rate. Repayment of the CV Relief Loan may be deferred with a 24-month term, payment deferred until Feb. 5, 2021. Applications must be received by May 31, 2020. Other terms and conditions apply. Rates are subject to qualifying factors including Folio Deduction and are quoted effective as of April 9, 2020 and are subject to change without notice. FIGFCU is federally insured by NCUA.
